About The Department

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is one of the few departments functioning from the inception of the university in 1990. The department is offering M.C.A, M.Sc.and Ph.D. programmes. The M.C.A programme is approved by the AICTE. TEQIP 1.2 grant has been sanctioned to promote engineering programme and research activities in Computer Science & Engineering discipline. Apart from the academic activities, the young and dynamic team of faculty members are encouraged to involve themselves in sending proposals to various funding agencies UGC, DST & AICTE. The students are encouraged to carry out their research work, which contribute positive impact on the society and the civilized lifestyle. With an excellent record of generating external supports for research and a dedicated faculty team, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering is an excellent place to work, study or pursue research.
