Activities of the Counselling Centre:

The Counselling Centre will comprise of dedicated student counsellors and faculty members, along with psychologists (and psychiatrists on consultation basis) who will address the mental health of the students through a professional counselling service. A fully functioning University Counselling Centre will deal with following issues:

  • Career guidance
  • Stress management
  • Suicide prevention
  • Building resilience among students
  • Goal Orientation
  • Personality development
  • Life skills training
  • Managing interpersonal relationships
  • De-addiction counselling and
  • Family welfare counselling

How to make use of Counselling services?

Counselling services will be mostly individual-based, totally free of cost and completely confidential. Students may simply walk in, call over the phone or email to seek an appointment. Students may also be contacted through referral. Counselling Service shall be offered through the following mode:
